Maybe it's because Spring is here (I've seen intermittent glimpses between blowing snow flurries). Something about the lighting at Springtime is romantic and girly. Like magnolias, Spring is both delicate and robust. Quiet and yet persistantly marching us forward to sunnier days.

Spring's influence inspired me to create this new "Modern Romance Collection" -- a series of lovely designs featuring clean modern lines and shapes, paired with touches of vintage texture, color, ribbon, pearls and crystals. Just enough to give the pieces a vintage girly feel, without overwhelming the sleek shapes or bold geometry.
